How to Play

'LEAGUE' Mode —

‘FRICKET’ introduces a unique gaming mode called 'Leagues'. If you wish to, you will be able to challenge your friends in a private and controlled environment where you get to select certain key aspects that shall control the entire selection process for you and your friends.

Everyone has the ability to create a unique combination of selection and scoring criteria to suit their needs and thus be a part of a unique league of their own and compete with their friends and family.

Once you create a league, you shall be provided with a unique league code that you can share with your friends and ask them to send you a league joining request. Once you, the league moderator, accepts these requests, these guys are all a part of your unique league and collectively you can create individual teams each and track your performance over the period of the particular series that you have selected at the time of creating the league.

As the league moderator or league creator, in order to accept join requests by other users for your league, kindly click on the 'Leagues' button on the main header tab of the website. Here, click on the 'My Leagues' tab, where you shall find the 'Team Request' button. Once you click on this, you shall see all the pending requests from users who wish to join your league. Once you 'accept' these requests, these users shall receive a notification about the acceptance and they can click on the link in the notification to add the team for the league.

As the moderator, to add your own team, you need to click on your league name from the Fricket homepage, which will be nested under 'Ongoing Leagues'. When you open the league page, you shall see a 'League Info' button, inside which will be the 'Add Team' button along with the info about the league and the share code and share link for the league. To add your team, please click on the 'Add Team' button and you shall be taken to the create team page.

Any time a user sends a request to you, or you accept a request from another user, you shall receive a notification about it which can be viewed by clicking the 'bell' icon next to your name at the top of the page.

Over the course of the series/tournament you are competing for, you can continuously substitute players who are not performing with new players from the squad lists and watch your team rake up the points and compare this with other members of your league. There is a dedicated league leaderboard for every league where each user can track their own and their peers' performances over the course of every league.

 

SINGLE GAME MODE -

The game of ‘FRICKET’ is really simple to play and master.

1. Create your unique user id by signing up with some basic information. OR if you have already signed up, simply log in to your account with your user id and password.

2. Choose the live upcoming match for which you wish to create a team for from the match cards on the homepage when you log in.

3. Select 11 players from the list of players from the selected match’s team squads. Your team has to follow a certain selection criteria(composition, value) clearly mentioned on the team selection page.

4. Save your squad, sit back and watch your team rake up the points.

5. Compare your scores with other users to see where you stand in the global arena and to earn bragging rights.
